The Archaeological Museum in Krzemionki is a subsidiary of the Historical and Archeological Museum in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski. Its collection includes mainly relics from the prehistoric striped flint mines, but also from such well-known archaeological sites as “Gawroniec” in Ćmielów, or “Chmielów Piaskowy”. The museum also does research on primeval flint mining, ancient steel industry, and settlement in the basin of central and lower Kamienna River.
